Accessibility statement
Howard Funding wants everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What this site does
Every page is built to these rules:
- Text and buttons meet WCAG AA color contrast, checked every time the colors change.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible outline on what you're on and a Skip to content link.
- Every photo has a text description, or is marked as decoration so screen readers skip it.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they're easy to tap.
- Every form field has a label, and a mistake says what to change.
- Pages fit any screen, from a phone to a desktop, without scrolling sideways.
